Yoga Therapy isn’t about pushing the body harder. It’s about listening clearly enough that change becomes possible.
What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga therapy is the adaptation of yoga practices for people with health challenges. Yoga therapists prescribe specific regimens of postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to suit individual needs.
Sometimes what we need is a fresh perspective to help us recognize the patterns that may be holding us back. From there, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible. Yoga Therapy focuses on building awareness so we can gently adjust habits in movement, breathing, and daily life that may be contributing to pain, stress, or limitation.
In our sessions, we work closely together to explore your movement patterns, breath, and lifestyle habits. Using this understanding, we co-create a personalized yoga and movement plan designed to support your specific needs. The goal is to help reduce pain, improve strength, flexibility, and balance, and create greater ease in your body so you can increase your energy, manage stress more effectively, breathe more comfortably, and move through life with greater confidence.
I offer both one-on-one private yoga therapy sessions and small group programs.
